I was browsing the forums over at Arines and ran across this: The Shock Transfer System. Basically it seems to be a CNC’d block of aluminum that fits around the one piece hop-up unit found in most (not all) M16/M4. The whole Idea is that the block absorbed the kinetic energy given off when firing your AEG and thus prolongs the life of the gearbox (cracking) which we all know plagues the V2 gearboxes. However with a cost of 45 dollars I think I’ll just take my chances.
