This is one of the main reasons I shoot an ICS M4. Not only does the split GB make maitenance, modification and repairs a breeze it is also rock solid. The other main feature which made me switch from CS to ICS was the hop-up design as well. The only draw back to ICS is the lack of them adhearing to mil-spec or commercial standards on external parts (buffer tubes, RIS/RAS systems, etc…) Other than that one draw back, I love my ICS.
