Ran across this tonight, pretty amazing tool if I could only get my hands on it. Something like this would be perfect (well maybe a little overkill) for planning complex OPs and events.

Look up ARMA and ARMA 2, VBS and VBS2 Are the military versions of these 2 computer games that are available to the regular public, retail copy of one of them usuly goes for about $260. While you can get ARMA fairly cheep these days, and ARMA 2 is pretty awesome.
Update, you can get the british version of it online for free right now!
