Well my lazy ass finally got around to migrating the from from PHPBB to IP.Board. I wish I could say it went “smoothly” however it more or less was a real bitch. So after about six hours of beating my head against the wall I evidently finally hit all the buttons in the right order like a good monkey and everything imported in.
There are still a few little odds and ends and otherwise strangeness that needs to be resolved but it should be pretty transparent to you guys.
There is plenty of new functionality to play with on the new forums. User can now create their own blogs within the forums as well as create, edit and manage photo albums. So really cool stuff, it just takes a little bit of click to find everything. I encourage everyone to take advantages of these new features, after al it was your donations that helped us purchase this new forum!
