I got my French 2-buckle boots from Sportsman Guide. They're black, but in good shape for used surplus.

Yeah, I never could figure those guys out. The hapless Germans were the worst shots in the war. It's a wonder they conquered anything if that was an example of their abilities.

Hell, two years is a great shoe life time.

Well at Doubloon today my left boot totally failed, the sole separated from the front of the leather and flopped around until I just duct taped it all together. I will take them to a cobbler this week and have them fixed.

Airborn kits for sale: http://ww2aa.proboar...lay&thread=9549

I'll probably start skirmishing again after I get my drivers license and "tune" my Garand.

@Ian, The leather sole and rubber sole seperated? Or the whole sole seperated from the part with your foot in it?

I hear Crosman has been working to create a .06g BB. Once that comes out I would definitely make the switch to those. Because they're really light you will get a huge fps increase also increasing your range. hopefully Crosman will utilize the seams they have on most of their BB's which can act as wings for your bb stabilizing it in flight for insane accuracy.
