Only a complete genius or a total fool could ever pull this off. Lucky for us he's both.

My nephew just received his pair from EhobbyAsia. He is going to try them out tomorrow so I can let you know what we think of them. I use to own a pair fo Wii goggles which are just like the EH Goggles w/turbo fan and they worked great and were also $36. However, at an airsoft event a kid wanted them more than me so I sold them to him. I will let you all know on how my nephews work. It takes about 10days for shipping on them from EhobbyAsia.

As long as these are high quality replicas of the ESS Turbo fans I think you will be alright. However I think the palces you don't buy cheap in airsoft are:
Battery
Charger
Radio
Eye Protection
Boots
So I say go for it, if you do not like them I am sure you can sell them to someone else on the forums.

Okay, we went ahead and tried his goggles out,,,fan works great. When on high its just a little louder than my ESS goggles. The EA goggles will have ESS on them. If you have held and worn ESS goggles you will notice that the EA is a cheaper quality, but heck for $36 they are deffinetly worth it. I think he made a good choice in purchasing the EA Goggles w/turbo fan. Len's are pretty discent as well. Comes with smokey installed and clear as an extra.

Are you willing to do a ballistics test on them? Fire a few bbs at very close range to test the lens durability?

Sirs,
Are the G Wii Power Fan Airsoft Goggles ( OD ) HMG0149
ANSI rated? Are these goggles safe to wear and will they stop a .25 gm 6mm BB from a 400 fps AEG at close range?

Everyone can be their own judge, but I really think ESS makes the EA goggles just to the specs of Ehobbyasia. All paperwork inside the box has the ESS phone #'s and address to contact them if any problems.
