The IAS from Mission Spec is a adaptive 1-2 point sling designed for quick transitions. They retail for ~35.00 USD, not a bad price considering the MAGPUL M2S pricing. Think I will pick one up myself, just wish they did not use mash clips. After seeing some nice face hits after the FPH CQB game. I figured this would be a good follow up for you guys thinking about wearing face protection in those types of situations. Personally I am not a big fan of face protection, but in such a CLOSE environment as FPH and players having the use of full auto, I’d rather not risk some serious injury or at the least some interesting looks from my co-workers on Monday morning. Currently I am using an Iron Face mask for protection and it works well. It is very light and even for being so thin gives 100% protection as I found out during the second evolution! The only draw back seems to be communicating through it, but I actually had no issues speaking over comms with my headset mic outside the mask. |
