I better get my uTorrent fired up!

UPDATE: Just a fictional trailer, too bad.

67 Years Ago Today…

Keep Moving

Tony Chapman

Keep moving lads … keep moving

Don’t huddle on this beach

Don’t make yourselves a target

For those guns up there to reach

Keep moving lads … keep moving

There’s the seawall … over there

Keep moving lads … keep moving

Don’t falter … or despair

Don’t look … at comrades falling

Around you … everywhere

Keep moving lads … keep moving

We can take this … on the chin

Keep moving … and keep praying

Before those guns … they zero in.

Medal of Honor for Afghanistan Heroics

An Army Ranger who lost his right hand while tossing an enemy grenade away from fellow soldiers in Afghanistan will be awarded the Medal of Honor, the U.S. Army announced this week.

Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Arthur Petry will be the second living recipient of the Medal of Honor from the Iraq and Afghan wars, according to the military. President Barack Obama will present the award to Petry on July 12.

Hero Distraction Device

I ran across this on Solider System today. This device would have a myriad of uses in the realm of Milsim. I have yet to find pricing on even the product itself on CeJay’s sight, but I will keep an eye out – granted I doubt it will be affordable to the average Milsim player.

Hero is a versatile, reusable distraction and marking device which puts out bright flashes of light flashes (Green, Blue, White or Red LEDs) as well as a piercing sound. It is compact, extremely rugged, and able to withstand deployment from low-flying aircraft and moving vehicles. The Hero perfect for use in instances where a distraction device with explosive or flammable characteristics would be unsafe. When used as a distraction device, it is designed to be deployed in the vicinity of the suspect to create a non-lethal diversion. It’s plenty loud (~130dB at Source). As a marking device, its multi-directional light and sound can be seen and heard over considerable distance.
